The association’s highest honor, the ACE Award, is bestowed to a member who has not only reached a pinnacle in their personal career but has also brought credit to themselves and ADISA through additional distinguished works. The 2024 ACE Award was presented to Angela Barbera, director, national accounts at NexPoint Securities. The award winner is selected after submissions are made by ADISA members through a nomination portal.

The Distinguished Service Award is presented to individuals and companies who have provided exceptional service to ADISA, the alternative investments industry and the overall community. This award was presented to Joanna Venetch, founder and principal at Hana Solutions LLC. The award winner is selected after submissions are made by ADISA members through a nomination portal.

FactRight, a company that specializes in third-party due diligence reporting and risk management consulting for the alternative investment community, earned the President’s Award. The President’s Award is given to an individual or organization that has made outstanding contributions in their chosen field, either by service in local, state or national affairs, or in support of the advancement and continued excellence of ADISA. The award winner is chosen by ADISA’s president of its board of directors.

“Each year, ADISA recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of its individual and company members; those whose efforts have gone above and beyond to help our association and the alternative investments industry progress and succeed,” said ADISA Executive Director John Harrison. “ADISA is proud to recognize Angela Barbera, Joanna Venetch, and FactRight. Thank you for all you do and congratulations on your recognition.”
